A special ceremony was held at Grange Paddocks – East Herts' new leisure centre in Bishop’s Stortford – on Saturday, to commemorate the planting of five cherry trees donated by the Sakura project, which celebrates relations between Japan and the UK.
East Herts Council are launching a consultation for the provision of a third generation (3G) artificial grass football pitch at Grange Paddocks which would be located partially on the footprint of the old leisure centre next to the existing play area.
Despite the obstacles we have experienced including Covid-19 and Brexit, we have completed the play area and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for following us on this journey and your patience as we worked to deliver a new destination play area for our county town.
