New weekly virtual bike studios will soon be popping up at five venues across East Herts for the over 60s to try out. Foot pedals, combined with video and sound will take users on cycle trips through familiar surroundings, famous cities or childhood memories. A Road World Champs challenge will add a fun, competitive edge for those who want to become dedicated enthusiasts. 2,500 people in 6 countries logged 52,348 virtual kilometers in just a month and this is the first time it has been available to the public.
Suitable for all, especially if you have issues with mobility or memory loss, the very smart "MotiTech" equipment allows you to feel you are going on a bike ride to
destinations of your choice all over the world. The hope is to turn you into enthusiastic cyclists by taking you on regular virtual road trips. You can visit the technology for these hourly sessions at https://www.roadworlds.com which will run on alternative weeks in the venues listed below from end of February through to early May.
