Staying safe during a storm
Storms can occur at any time of the year and are usually accompanied by strong winds, often produce heavy rain and sometimes snow, sleet, or hail.
Storms can range in size and intensity, from localised thunderstorms to large-scale weather systems such as hurricanes and typhoons. Houses and buildings can often be damaged due to severe thunderstorm.
