Pay your Business Rates

There are several different ways that you can pay your Business Rates. You can pay in 10 or 12 monthly instalments, once a year on 1 April or you can pay half on 1 April and the other half on 1 September.

Direct Debit

Direct Debit is the most efficient and convenient way to pay your Business Rates.

You can pay by Direct Debit if you have a bank or building society current account. We offer two different payment dates, 1st and 15th of the month. Please print and return the fully completed form to the address below.

Please DO NOT email a copy of the form to the council as it will not be accepted by your bank. Please see the address below.

Online

You can pay your business rates online.

By Telephone

You can call our Automated Payments Line on 01279 502222 at any time. You will need your 9 digit Account Number. This is shown on the front of your bill and your debit/credit card details.

At the Bank

Compete a Bank Giro Credit Slip at your bank and make a payment to the Council.
