- Sequestration – tree planting, peat or grassland restoration, rewilding, no-dig initiatives
We suggest that as you consider your proposal, you check the eligibility criteria first to make sure you are in a position to receive funding from the council.
Note: Before starting your application via the online form in the link below, please be advised that we have identified a technical issue whereby users can only complete the form using a guest account. This does not permit you to save your application part way through so, if your system crashes or you need to come back to it at a later time, your entry may well be lost. We would advise downloading this word document to prepare and save your application, and, copy/paste your answers into the online form once you are ready to do so.
Applications are now closed.
What happens after you apply:
- Your application will be checked to determine if it is complete and eligible
- Applications will be scored using steps outlined in the assessment process
- Successful applicants will be notified no later than ten weeks after the grants closure date on 9th September 2024
- Payments of grants for successful applicants will be made before 31 March 2025
