East Herts Community Safety Partnership (CSP) Priorities Survey

The East Herts Community Safety Partnership (CSP) is made up of agencies including Hertfordshire Constabulary, East Herts Council, Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue, Housing Associations and Hertfordshire County Council. These agencies work together to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour within the district.

A survey is being carried out across East Herts to inform our CSP priorities for the year ahead, we want to find out what issues residents consider to be their highest priority. Agencies are seeking to find out what issues are important to you – whether you are new to East Herts or have been a resident here for a long time. In this survey, we will ask you questions about your ‘local area’. The definition of local area means the street where you live or the surrounding streets, up to 15-20 mins walk away.

Whilst we will look at all issues raised in this survey in order to compare local concerns to previous consultations, we will not be able to impact on all of them and issues such as potholes, lighting and parking may be referred back to the relevant service if there are sufficient concerns.

Feedback from this survey will be looked at in conjunction with crime data, trends and statistics to form the CSP priorities for the forthcoming year.

You do not have to answer all the questions, however the more information you give us, the better it will help us to understand what is important to you.

Please do not use this survey to report an incident or crime.

For the purposes of this survey the definition of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) is:

  • Conduct that has caused or is likely to cause harassment, alarm, or distress to any person.
  • Conduct capable of causing nuisance or annoyance to a person in relation to that person’s occupation of residential premises or
  • Conduct capable of causing housing-related nuisance or annoyance to any person.
