Delivered by turnaround specialist and business expert, Olivier Carion, and funded by the Hertfordshire Health Protection Board, the six workshops offer two hours of learning and practical exercises that can be attended individually or together as part of a series.
Starting on 15 February – and taking place throughout February and March – the sessions include increasing sales, growing your business in challenging times and creating an effective continuity plan. Attendees will also be given advice on trading safely and Covid-19 safety measures.
Cllr Jan Goodeve, Executive Member for Planning and Growth, said: “We are absolutely committed to stimulating the local economy to thrive by supporting the growth of our dynamic business community. That is why we’re so pleased to host these bite-sized sessions; planned to fit easily around the schedule of busy business owners, the workshops cover a vast range of topics, all designed to accelerate growth.”
Olivier Carion has several decades of international business experience, including as a mentor and trainer. In the UK since 1999, Olivier initially worked as a consultant for large international companies and, in the last 10 years, has focused on supporting small and medium-sized businesses. Olivier specialises in the mindset for success and tactical business turnaround, with a passion to help businesses, and the people behind them, meet their goals.
Olivier said: “My aim is to inspire people to realise their full potential and in doing so take businesses to the next level. Running your own company is never easy so these workshops will be a valuable opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and focus on driving success for the future.”
